We prepare the car and remove the rear wheel from the side of the task being performed
Remove the brake pads from the brake shield and leave them hanging on the support pins
Draining the brake fluid
For the convenience of working with a key of 11, unscrew the bleed valve
Unscrew the brake pipe fitting from the brake cylinder adapter with a 12 wrench, holding it with a 17 wrench
We unscrew the two bolts securing the brake cylinder to the brake shield with a 12 key and remove the cylinder
If there is no adapter on the new cylinder, clamp the old cylinder in a vise and unscrew the adapter with a 17 wrench
There is a copper washer between the adapter and the cylinder. When installing the adapter on a new cylinder, we replace it.
Install the brake cylinder in reverse order, then bleed the brake system
Replacing the rear brake hose
Draining the brake fluid
Unscrew the brake pipe fitting with a 12 wrench, holding the hose tip with a 17 wrench
Unscrew the nut securing the hose to the frame bracket with a 24 wrench, holding the hose tip with a 17 wrench
A lock washer is installed under the nut
Use a 17 wrench to unscrew the hose end from the tee on the rear axle beam and remove the hose
Install the new hose in reverse order and bleed the brake system
