Remove the cladding to adjust the parking brake, to remove the regulator of the electric drive of the exterior rear-view mirrors, the gearbox control mechanism and the parking brake lever
We disengage the frame of the gear lever cover from engagement with the bottom lining of the floor tunnel lining
Having overcome the resistance of the latches of the lower lining, we take it away from the lining of the floor tunnel
Location of latches
Use a screwdriver to depress the latch on the electric drive of the external rear-view mirrors, disconnect the wiring harness block from it and remove the bottom trim of the floor tunnel lining
If necessary, we take out the regulator of the electric drive of the external rear-view mirrors from the hole in the bottom trim.
Using the TorxT-20 wrench, we unscrew one self-tapping screw of the side fastening of the floor tunnel lining on each side
Remove the switches on the top lining of the floor tunnel lining
With a 10-head, unscrew the nut of the stud fastening the middle part of the floor tunnel lining to the bottom of the body
Using a Torx T-20 wrench, unscrew the two screws securing the front part of the floor tunnel lining in the front niche for glasses
Using a Torx T-20 wrench, unscrew the self-tapping screw securing the rear part of the floor tunnel lining in the rear recess for the glass
Pushing the cover of the shift lever into the hole in the lining, remove it.
Install the cladding in reverse order.
