The instrument cluster cannot be repaired. If the instrument indicators are faulty, the cluster is replaced as a whole
Disconnect the negative battery terminal
Unscrew the two screws connecting the upper and lower parts of the steering column casing
Pull up and remove the upper part of the casing
Unscrew the two screws securing the lower part of the casing to the steering column
Remove the lower part of the casing
Removing the lower decorative trim of the instrument panel
Pry up the left edge of the decorative trim and disconnect it from the instrument panel
Location of the decorative trim fasteners of the instrument cluster trim (view from the inside)
If the car is equipped with a coolant heater, disconnect the wiring block from its timer
Unscrew the four screws securing the instrument cluster to the instrument panel
Remove the instrument cluster from its socket in the instrument panel and move it aside by the length of the wires.
Fold back the locking bracket of the wire block
Disconnect the block from the connector combinations
Removing the instrument cluster.
Installing the instrument cluster in reverse order.
