We remove the engine intake pipe to replace the gasket and when repairing the cylinder head
We prepare the car for repair and disconnect the negative battery terminal
Remove the air filter housing
We unscrew the four bolts securing the throttle assembly to the intake pipe
Remove the wiring harness bracket to the side
We set aside the throttle assembly without disconnecting the cooling system hoses and the wiring block from it.
We tie the throttle assembly to the battery shelf with wire or rope
Disconnect the wiring harness from the absolute pressure sensor in the intake pipe
Squeeze the ends of the clamp and slide the clamp along the vacuum brake booster hose
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fitting
Also disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose
Disconnect the wire holder bracket from the inlet pipe
We unscrew the two bolts securing the protective cover of the fuel injector wires
Disconnect the wire blocks from the injectors
Remove the casing along with the wires to the side
Remove the dipstick
We unscrew the three bolts and two nuts of the intake pipe studs
We take the intake pipe away from the engine and remove it.
Install the intake pipe in reverse order, replacing its seal
We tighten the bolts and nuts of the inlet pipe with a torque of 18.6-23.5 Nm.
