Remove the electronic unit for inspection or replacement

Prepare the car for work.

You will need keys for 10, 13 and a screwdriver.

Open the hood, turn off the ignition and remove the battery.

Unscrew the two upper nuts securing the unit, which simultaneously secure the fuse block bracket

Move the bracket aside

We fold back the locking bracket of the upper block of the wiring harness

We disconnect the upper block of the wiring harness from the ECU

Also disconnect the lower connector of the wiring harness from the unit

Unscrew the two nuts of the lower mount and remove the unit

Removing and installing the ECU

Install the control unit in reverse order.

If there is moisture on the connectors, it must be removed with a quick-drying contact cleaner.

Tightening torque of the unit mounting bolts is 18 Nm.

Install the battery.
