We replace the stabilizer as a result of strong deformation.

Replacing the shock absorber

We install the car on a lift or inspection pit

We clean the shock absorber mounting points from dust and dirt

We unscrew the nut of the lower mount shock absorber.

Remove the thrust washer and the lower end of the shock absorber from the pin

Unscrew the nut of the upper mount, remove the thrust washer and shock absorber

Install the shock absorber in the reverse order.

Replacing the anti-roll bar

Clean the attachment points of the stabilizer parts from dust and dirt

Unscrew the nuts securing the hinges of the struts

Unscrew the nuts securing the brackets of the struts to the rod

Remove the bolts from the hinge holes and remove the struts.

Unscrew the nuts of the clamps of the rod fastening to the brackets of the bridge and remove the rod.

Inspect the stabilizer parts.

If the rod is slightly deformed (the ends of the rod are not in the same plane), it is permissible to straighten the rod.

In case of significant deformation or presence of cracks in the rod, struts and brackets, as well as if the rubber bushings are worn out, the parts should be replaced.

Install the stabilizer in the reverse order.
