Set the steering wheel to the position of the rectilinear movement of the car.
We take out the ignition key and turn the steering wheel until the shaft is fixed by the anti-theft locking device.
We loosen the steering wheel bolt, but do not completely unscrew the bolt.
After loosening the steering wheel mounting bolt, turn off the anti-theft device by inserting the key into the ignition.
Swinging, we pull the steering wheel towards us and remove it from the splines of the shaft.
Completely unscrew the steering wheel screw
After unscrewing the steering wheel mounting screw, it is advisable to mark the position of the steering wheel relative to the steering column shaft, for example, with a marker. This will make installation easier.
Carefully pull the driver's airbag harness through the hole in the steering wheel.
Remove the steering wheel from the shaft.
Install the steering wheel in reverse order. Tighten the steering wheel bolt to 45 Nm.
