We remove the protection and mudguards of the engine to gain access to the components and parts of the power unit.
Protection and mud flaps serve to protect against damage and protect against contamination of the elements of the power plant.
The right and left mud flaps consist of an upper part and a lower part.
To complete the task, you will need a Torx T-20 wrench, a set of screwdrivers and a 10 wrench.
We install the car on a lift or a viewing ditch.

We unscrew the three screws of the front fastening of the lower part of the mudguard.
The front bumper is fixed at the same time with the same bolts.

Unscrew the retainer of the rear mount

Removing the piston

Pry off the large fastening clip with a screwdriver

And remove the large piston for fastening the lower part of the right mudguard

It is good to remove the caps with a special puller

Remove the latches of the lower part of the mudguard from engagement with the upper part of the mudguard and the front bumper

Remove the lower part of the mudguard

Pry off the piston with a screwdriver or puller

And remove the piston of its lower mount

We unscrew the plastic nut of the upper attachment to the body

Remove the upper part of the mudguard
Install the mudguard in reverse order
Remove engine protection

To remove the crankcase protection, unscrew the six mounting bolts

And remove the protection
Install protection in reverse order.
