Duster

This section describes the design, maintenance, and repair of the Renault Duster. The vehicle is equipped with a K4M gasoline engine and a K9K diesel engine. The section covers the removal, installation, disassembly, and assembly of various vehicle components and mechanisms.

We prepare the car and install it on a lift or an inspection pit.

We unscrew the wheel securing bolts on the side being worked on and remove the wheel.

The front suspension is independent, of the MacPherson strut type with an arm and spring arrangement, with telescopic shock absorber struts, coil springs, transverse arms, and an anti-roll bar of the torsion type.

The solenoid valve of the F4R engine and the high-voltage coil are secured by a single bolt.
