The throttle assembly with an electric drive of the multiport fuel injection system is mounted on the receiver.
It measures the amount of air entering the intake pipe.
The intake of air into the engine is metered by an electric throttle controlled by the controller.
The throttle assembly has two throttle position sensors and an associated electric drive.
Removing the throttle body
We prepare the car and disconnect the negative battery terminal
Remove the decorative engine cover
With a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew and loosen the clamp that secures the rubber air supply pipe to the throttle assembly
Weaken the clamp and remove the pipe from the adapter pipe
Disconnect the air supply pipe from the throttle assembly and put it behind the latch post of the decorative engine cover
We press on the latches of the engine control harness block
Remove the wiring harness block
With a long head for 10, unscrew the three nuts securing the throttle assembly
Carefully remove the throttle pipe from the three studs attaching to the receiver and remove the gasket
Install the throttle assembly in reverse order.
Replacing the gasket between the receiver and the throttle assembly.
The tightening torque of the nuts for fastening the throttle assembly is 5-8 Nm
We attach the intake pipe hose to the throttle pipe and fix it with clamps. Clamp tightening torque 1.7-2.3 Nm.
After installing the throttle assembly, no adjustment is required.
The throttle is reset by the controller.
