Remove the clutch basket and clutch disc (article - Renault Sandero clutch repair)
We mark with a felt-tip pen or quick-drying paint the position of the flywheel relative to the crankshaft to facilitate installation.
We unscrew the seven flywheel mounting bolts, holding the flywheel from turning with a screwdriver
Remove the flywheel
Check the condition of the teeth of the flywheel crown, if they are damaged, replace the flywheel
We replace or repair the flywheel if there are marks and scratches on the contact surfaces of the clutch disc or crankshaft flange.
In a special workshop, we check the flywheel for runout on the toothed rim.
The runout of the flywheel on the toothed rim should not exceed 0.5 mm.
To remove deep scratches and scuffs, the contact surface of the driven disk can be sanded, but the layer of metal to be removed should not be more than 0.3 mm.
Install the flywheel in reverse order.
Lubricate the thread of the flywheel bolts with engine oil and tighten with a torque of 65 Nm (6.5 kgf.m)
