Removing the flywheel

Check the condition of the teeth of the crown of the flywheel, in case of damage, replace the flywheel

We replace or repair the flywheel if there are risks and bullies on the surfaces of the fit of the driven clutch disc or the crankshaft flange.

In a special workshop, we check the flywheel for beating on the toothed rim.

The beating of the flywheel on the toothed rim should not exceed 0.5 mm.

To remove deep ridges and scratches, the surface of the fit of the driven disk can be sanded, but the layer of metal to be removed should not be more than 0.3 mm.

We install the flywheel in the reverse order.

The thread of the flywheel bolts is lubricated with engine oil and tightened with a torque of 65 Nm (6.5 kgf.m)
