We remove the oil sump when overhauling the engine and for access to the crankshaft and parts of the cylinder-piston group

Replace the cylinder head gasket if a leak is detected at the junction of the head with the block. We also replace the gasket when removing and installing the cylinder head

In case of insufficient compression or other defects in the piston group, rings or connecting rods can be replaced without performing an overhaul of the engine
