We remove the oil cooler for replacement or repair
Preparing the car for the task
Remove the engine cooling radiator shields
Turn off the oil cooler valve
Oil cooler can be removed with or without hoses
In the event that the radiator is removed together with the hoses, then with a 14 key we unscrew the fitting of the oil cooler supply hose
Using a compressor or other pump, we blow the radiator with compressed air. At the same time, the oil from the radiator is drained into the sump.
Using a 14 wrench, unscrew the drain hose fitting, while holding the adapter fitting with a 17 wrench
Pull out the blind control knob
We unscrew the four radiator mounting bolts with a 12 head
Remove the oil cooler
To remove the radiator without hoses:
Loosen clamps
And remove the inlet and outlet hoses from the radiator pipes
After that, unscrew the radiator mounting bolts and remove it, as indicated above
In the event that the opening between the engine radiator and the front panel is small, unscrew the bolts securing the struts to the radiator and carefully remove the radiator from the panel, trying not to damage it on the fan viscous coupling.
Install the oil cooler in reverse order
